Fisher, Amy

Amy Fisher is an undergraduate sophomore scholar currently studying Political Science and Chinese at Union College, Schenectady, NY. She was born in Darwin, Australia and moved to Singapore at the age of 11. In the United States, she is Cochair of the China Consortium, a group that aims at strengthening relations with students in Union and in China for future internships and job opportunities. She is also the president of World Around U, a group that holds international culture events every month at the college. Also at Union, she competes as a division three athlete in the NCAA as a basketball player. After involving herself with social work in Shanghai in 2010, she has remained strongly interested in the cultures and languages of China.
