Kile, Ryan

Ryan J. Kile is a J.D. candidate, class of 2016, at The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington D.C., where he is also a member of the International Moot Commercial Arbitration Team.

Ryan has eight years of service in the United States Army and Army Reserve as an officer. He deployed to Iraq in 2006-2007 and 2009-2010. While deployed, Ryan served as a Civil-Military Officer and a Contracting Officer. In these positions, Ryan coordinated humanitarian relief activities in Salah al Din and Diyala Provinces, and also worked with a team to develop local governance and economic prosperity. He supervised the contracting and project development processes for a team that built schools, water distribution facilities, and aided Iraqi farmers and entrepreneurs in their growing their businesses. He also solicited private donors and coordinated with charitable organizations to bring clothing articles and school supplies to needy Iraqi families.
