United States International Grant-Making Project

The USIG project began at the Council on Foundations in 2000, with leadership not only from the Council but also from Connie Higginson of the American Express Foundation and Karla Simon. Karla Simon, one of the original founders of the project, resigned from the Steeering Committee in late 2005 to work more closely with other initiatives. ICCSL remains involved with the USIG project through its President, Leon Irish, and assists the Council in writing and editing a number of Country Notes and in updating the Accounting section of the site.
