China’s proposed legislation on Administration of Foreign NGOs will relax the restrictions on the establishment of branches by foreign NGOs.
The 14th plenary session of the 12th Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress carried out the second review of the bill of Administration of Foreign NGOs of China. The second bill provides that foreign NGOs and their representative offices should not establish branches in China, “except as otherwise provided by the State Council.”Read more here
